Upcoming events: Saturday January 24th 6.30pm - performance of my own compositions, the Cork Freilach and the Crosshaven Nigun, by 2 different ensembles - Crosshaven Music Collective and Across The Board. This free concert also includes lots of other fab and varied local acts. Organised by Crosshaven Music Collective. Venue: Templebreedy Church, Crosshaven. Thursday February 12th 4pm - launch of the Cork Jewish History Digital Archive at Cork Public Museum, the result of 8 years of research that started soon after the closure of Cork Synagogue. All welcome, but registration is required [email protected] 021 427 0679 The digital archive consists of over 200 entries including oral histories, memoirs, photos, poems, music, articles, stories, all from the Cork Jewish diaspora and from people living in Cork today who have fond memories of the former community. It can be accessed by emailing the museum to request a catalogue, or by visiting in person.
