Thursday June 4th - 8pm - Across The Board play for Cork International Folk Dance group.
This is a Thursday dance class run by Denise Gabuzda at the Quaker Meeting House in Cork. Across The Board provided live music.
Sunday May 31st - 6pm - The Mountain House, Ardfield, Co. Cork - Swing You Sinners
I play trombone with this thoroughly dance-able swing band.
Sunday May 24th - 1 to 3pm - Crosshaven Street Feast, Crosshaven, Co. Cork
Across The Board (my community band), Vox Femme (a vocal group facilitated by Caz Jeffreys, based in Skibbereen) and Crosshaven Music Collective
Saturday January 24th - performance of my own compositions, the Cork Freilach and the Crosshaven Nigun, by 2 different ensembles - Crosshaven Music Collective and Across The Board. Organised by Crosshaven Music Collective. Venue: Templebreedy Church, Crosshaven.
Thursday February 12th - launch of the Cork Jewish History Digital Archive at Cork Public Museum, the result of 8 years of research that started soon after the closure of Cork Synagogue. All welcome, but registration is required [email protected] 021 427 0679
The digital archive consists of over 200 entries including oral histories, memoirs, photos, poems, music, articles, stories, all from the Cork Jewish diaspora and from people living in Cork today who have fond memories of the former community. It can be accessed by emailing the museum to request a catalogue, or by visiting in person.

Summer 2025
Saturday 16th August 11am - an informative and fun guided musical tour of Cork's Jewish history. This was part of Cork Heritage Open Day and is supported by Cork City Council Heritage Office.
Tuesday 19th August 2pm - Metropole Hotel, McCurtain Street, Cork: Presentation of my research into Cork's Jewish history, as part of a panel with Oral History Network of Ireland.

Der Veg Abhaile - The Way Home, "Tracing the past, Creating the present, an Irish Jewish Journey" launched in December 2023 at the Samuel Bak Museum of the Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History in Vilnius.
The Cork section included my documentary Cork Jewish Culture Virtual Walk. It featured poetry, film, art, music and story by a plethora of Irish creatives.

Awards 2021:
Arts Council Professional Development Award for a course in Theatre Writing under the tutelage of Ger Fitzgibbon.
Arts Council Agility Award to record songs from Green Feather Boa and work on my new play, A Bedtime Story For Adults.
Cork City Council Heritage Grant for Memories of a Cork Jewish Childhood.
Cork County Council Local Live Performance Programming Scheme Grant for the Fresh Air Collective outdoor concert series.
Late 2020:
My Cork Jewish Culture Virtual Walk project received a National Heritage Week 2020 award. You can view it here.
Throughout lockdown, the development of Green Feather Boa continued, with a full reading with five actors on Zoom, a re-write (resulting in the fourth draft now being complete) and the scoring of the songs. You can now see a photocollage with music from the second reading, in Cork City Hall, here.
Both of these projects were supported by Cork City Council.
