July/August/September - A series of 11 concerts by the Fresh Air Collective at outdoor venues in County Cork
August 14th - Cork Heritage Open Day: Memories of a Cork Jewish Childhood - a video featuring members of the old community
July - Cork Jewish Culture Virtual Walk video screened at Midleton Arts Festival
January - Cork Jewish Culture Virtual Walk featured on Nationwide - RTE TV
January - My intergenerational project, Songs For Our Times, was featured on the Arts in Education Portal from this Friday. http://artsineducation.ie/en/home/
January - Zoom events: Tu B'Shvat event with B'Shert community in Brooklyn, including some new music, and Kol Ami congregation in Salt Lake City.
Awards 2021:
Arts Council Professional Development Award for a course in Theatre Writing under the tutelage of Ger Fitzgibbon.
Arts Council Agility Award to record songs from Green Feather Boa and work on my new play, A Bedtime Story For Adults.
Cork City Council Heritage Grant for Memories of a Cork Jewish Childhood.
Cork County Council Local Live Performance Programming Scheme Grant for the Fresh Air Collective outdoor concert series.
Late 2020:
My Cork Jewish Culture Virtual Walk project received a National Heritage Week 2020 award. You can view it here.
Throughout lockdown, the development of Green Feather Boa continued, with a full reading with five actors on Zoom, a re-write (resulting in the fourth draft now being complete) and the scoring of the songs. You can now see a photocollage with music from the second reading, in Cork City Hall, here.
Both of these projects were supported by Cork City Council.
